ABERDARE GOLF CLUB
Aberdare Golf Club, Golf Rd, Abernant, Aberdare CF44 0RY
Founded in 1921, this parkland course at Abernant, which sits about a mile from the town centre of Aberdare, produced the great Dai Rees. The Welsh Ryder Cup player had his first lesson at the club, where his father served as the professional for 15 years, and his mother was the stewardess. The course, which is famous for its mature oak trees, provides an excellent test of golf while the scenery is surprisingly pleasant. Aberdare attracts lots of visitors, including several societies which return on a regular basis.
ABERDOVEY GOLF CLUB
Station road, Aberdovey, Gwynedd, LL35 0RT
Aberdovey Golf Club is enchantingly set within the Snowdonia National Park at the mouth of the Dovey Estuary, and the links are wedged between the Cambrian Mountain range and the shore. Despite its old age, Aberdovey is not short, a true links course measuring over 6,500 yards from the back tees. It will test, and has tested, the very best golfers, playing host to a number of amateur championships over the years. It was here that Ian Woosnam came to practise on firm, fast greens prior to playing in the U.S. Masters each April. The course offers a challenge from a range of tees for golfers of all abilities.

Regarded as one of the most picturesque courses in Wales with the magnificent backdrop of the historic Gwrych Castle, Abergele Golf Club remains a firm favourite with both members and visitors who visit from all over the golfing world.
ABERSOCH GOLF CLUB

As featured in Golf Monthly, ranked 16th best course in Wales by Golf World magazine and described by some visitors as “The Friendliest Golf Course in Wales” and “Fantastic Golf Course, Stunning Views” the golf club at Abersoch is one to put on your North Wales golfing list. Offering a challenging mix of 18 holes on traditional links and parkland, the course is a must for golfers of all abilities.
ABERYSTWYTH GOLF CLUB

Situated above the Mid Wales coastal town, Clwb Golff Aberystwyth is blessed with stunning views over Cardigan Bay. From Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula to the Preseli Mountains in Pembrokeshire, there is hardly a comparable view from any golf course, anywhere!
Aberystwyth was one of the courses designed by the legendary six times Open Champion, Harry Vardon, an all time ‘golfing great’. It is probably his most spectacular in terms of views and it has stood the golfing test of time.
ANGELSEY GOLF CLUB

Anglesey Golf Club – Rhosneigr, the only links golf course on the beautiful island of Anglesey. Our fascinating and at times challenging course offers much of interest for golfers of all abilities. With par 68 from the yellow tees and par 70 from the whites and reds, set amongst the dunes of Rhosneigr there is much to keep both golfers and visitors well and truly amused.
ASHBURNHAM GOLF CLUB

It is one of the finest Championship Links courses in Britain and maintains to be classed as one of the top 10 golf courses in Wales. Currently ranked as the 6th best course in Wales by Golf World, Ashburnham has hosted prestigious professional and amateur Championships, including, two British PGA Championships, 1976 Martini International Tournament, Mens, Ladies and Boy’s Home Internationals.
Chosen as a qualifying venue for the 2014 & 2017 Seniors Open Championship, this event is one in a long line of important events held here since the early 1900s when Harry Vardon, the six time British Open Champion said “The course I like best in Wales is Ashburnham.”
BRYNHILL GOLF CLUB

Brynhill Golf Club has often been described by visitors as ‘The Hidden Jewel in the Vale’.
Brynhill Golf Club is a beautiful 18-hole course with breathtaking views of the Vale of Glamorgan. Measuring 6500 yards and featuring four par fives, it is both challenging and enjoyable for golfers of all ages and skill levels. The course was designed by David Thomas, renowned for designing the Ryder Cup layout at the Belfry's Brabazon Course.
